Everyone is writing about a retrospective of the previous year, or looking forward to the new year. I want to encourage you to treat each evening as New Year’s Eve, and every day as New Year’s Day.
I don’t mean to watch a ball drop every night, or earn a hangover. I mean consider a brief retrospective, and set your plans.
Effective communication begins with knowing your message. Knowing your message, in turn, comes from a sense of values, i.e., a sense of what is important to you. Such a sense doesn’t develop without introspection. Out of the quiet times comes a focused message.
Today’s post is short because I’m spending time with family, and it’s also a good time to practice what I’m preaching.
Are you making every day a new beginning?
